Freeman, Freeman, Smiley's Charitable and Non-profit Organizational Planning practice provides services in the development of private foundations, licensing of organizations, program assessments, strategic endowment and campaign planning, board consultation and retreats, fund-raising policy design, staff training and consultation, and legal audits of existing planned gifts. Freeman, Freeman, Smiley's Donor and Prospect Advisory services include individual donor consultations and proposals, consultation with donor advisors, tax deduction reports or proposals, and planned gift instruments, such as gift annuities, gift agreements, and charitable remainder trusts.
Freeman, Freeman, Smiley works closely with development staff and board members to help non-profit organizations implement strategies for successful fund-raising, administering planned gifts and governing the organization.
