Raina L. Richter, Associate

Raina Richter specializes in complex civil litigation in both State and Federal Courts, as well as various alternative dispute resolution paradigms such as arbitration and mediation. She has successfully resolved claims for her clients at all phases including pre-litigation, pre-trial, trial, post-trial, appeal and judgment enforcement.

Areas of her specialty include business, real estate and employment litigation as well as representation of architects, engineers and real estate professionals in connection with professional liability claims. Ms. Richter's legal expertise also includes representation of clients in litigation related to construction, medical device manufacture/distribution, entertainment and intellectual property.

Ms. Richter has brought a well-rounded background to her practice of law which assists and informs her in her current representation of clients. Before becoming an attorney, she worked in the fields of film and television production, leisure/hospitality, talent management, textiles/fashion and non-profit. She has made her home in the heart of historic Downtown Los Angeles and has been actively involved in the exciting development of the community.

EDUCATION

Ms. Richter earned her law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2005. She has participated in judging the Appellate Advocacy Program candidates at Loyola for the past several years.

Ms. Richter earned a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology from the Univeristy of California, Los Angeles after transferring from Pierce Community College where she received Deans List honors each semester.
During her school years, Ms. Richter participated in study abroad programs for Art History in Florence Italy and International Comparative Law in Vancouver, Canada.
