Bruce M Smiley, Partner

Mr. Smiley is a founding partner and is Chairman of our Real Estate Department. Mr. Smiley's practice encompasses all aspects of transactional real estate law. His primary focus has been in the areas of commercial and industrial leasing, commercial acquisition and sales, finance, retail shopping center matters, environmental matters, workouts, eminent domain, and construction disputes. Mr. Smiley serves as an expert witness in real estate litigation matters. He has extensive experience in structuring shopping center transactions, handling environmentally complicated properties, and in the sale and liquidation of multiple parcels of property located throughout the United States. Mr. Smiley is regularly retained by large East Coast and Midwestern multi-national corporations and retailers to handle their company's most challenging transactional matters in the Western United States.

Mr. Smiley has been and continues for 2010 to be named a "Southern California Super Lawyer," a designation bestowed on only the top 5% of lawyers in this region by Law & Politics and Los Angeles magazines.
