Mr. Ziven is the Managing Partner of Freeman, Freeman and Smiley and is a member of our Business Transactions and Tax Planning Department. His practice focuses primarily on corporate law, business transactions, financing and real estate transactions. Mr. Ziven has extensive experience in buying and selling businesses, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, limited liability companies and start-up entities, private placements, business and real estate financings and family business succession planning. Mr. Ziven has been involved in structuring, negotiating and documenting many complex business and real estate transactions. In addition, Mr. Ziven has substantial business experience, serving as a corporate officer of the subsidiary of a Fortune 500 Company for over five years, and providing general business counseling to owners, senior management and high net worth individuals.
