Freeman Freeman & Smiley Welcomes Prominent Fashion Attorney Robert Ezra

Freeman Freeman & Smiley, LLP announced today that Robert Ezra, a nationally recognized fashion attorney, has joined the firm as a partner in the Los Angeles office and head of the Fashion Law practice.  

For nearly four decades, Mr. Ezra has represented clients in the fashion and textiles industries.  He specializes in contractual claims, partnership disputes, unfair competition, intellectual property claims and business torts both within and outside the apparel industry.  He devises legally protective and creative resolutions in business conflicts and creates valuable opportunities for clients in the area of financing and business growth.  He also advises on copyright and trademark availability and enforcement, and licensing agreements.  Additionally, he has experience in litigation, labor and employment compliance, factoring and financing, and establishing overseas manufacturing operations.  Mr. Ezra is a Certified Business Mediator and was a member of the Los Angeles Superior Court Mediation Panel.

Mr. Ezra earned his J.D. from Loyola University School of Law and his B.S. from DePaul University.
