Todd M. Lander Shares Opinion with Daily Journal on Government's Withdrawal of Case Against Apple

Todd M. Lander was quoted in today's Daily Journal article, "Government dropping case against Apple over iPhone: US Attorney says they have alternative way to unlock phone."  

Specializing in complex litigation and intellectual property, Mr. Lander states "Apple argued the government had failed to demonstrate it needed the company's assistance, and federal officials' withdrawal could suggest shortcomings in, or at least concerns about, their arguments."

Mr. Lander is a partner in our firm's Los Angeles office and a member of the Litigation Department.  He has a wide array of trial and appellate experience in trademark and copyright disputes, real estate, entertainment matters, commercial litigation, securities related litigation, and labor/employment and probate issues.  He has handled jury and bench trials in both the state and federal courts, and has arbitrated many disputes before numerous tribunals, including the USPTO’s Trademark Trial and Appellate Board, the NASD (now FINRA) and the Independent Film and Television Alliance. Mr. Lander also has shepherded numerous matters before the California and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal, resulting in four published opinions.
