Seth Paul Bradley, Associate

Seth Paul Bradley focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, with extensive experience in real estate finance.  He represents financial institutions, investment banks and borrowers, counseling them from debt origination to closing, in a wide variety of loans, including construction loans, CMBS loans, term loans, government subsidized affordable housing loans, and revolving lines of credit.  Mr. Bradley’s practice also includes representing real estate developers with the acquisition and disposition of commercial (including office buildings, retail centers, housing complexes and industrial warehouses), residential, and mixed use real estate properties, as well as representing landlords and tenants with commercial leasing.  He has additional experience with land title issues, foreclosure sales, and general contract drafting and negotiation.

Previously, Mr. Bradley practiced in the real estate department of an Am Law 200 firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, as well as an Am Law 200 firm in Orange County, California. 

During law school, Mr. Bradley served as Judicial Extern for The Honorable Bernard Skomal, United States Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. He also has previous transactional experience working at NuVasive Incorporated, an innovative, San Diego-based medical devices company, and Life Technologies Corporation, a world leading, gene sequencing biotechnology company.

  • Represented an institutional lender in the origination of a $22,000,000 construction loan for a residential tower project with ground floor retail in Northern California.
  • Represented a national bank in the origination of a $17,000,000 construction loan for a retail shopping center in Central Colorado.

Affordable Housing Loans

  • Represented a national bank in the origination of a $15,000,000 construction and permanent loan for an affordable housing project in Southern California.
  • Represented a national bank in the origination of a $13,500,000 construction loan for an affordable housing project in Southern California.

Securitized Loans

  • Represented institutional lender in the origination of a $22,000,000 CMBS loan secured by a retail shopping center in Northern California.
  • Represented institutional lender in the origination of an $11,700,000 CMBS loan secured by three multi-family properties in Northern Virginia.
  • Represented institutional lender in the origination of a $69,000,000 CMBS loan secured by a portfolio of 18 storage facilities in five states.

  • Represented a California corporation in the refinancing of a $11,500,000 term loan secured by a mixed use retail and office building in Northern California.
  • Represented an institutional lender in the origination of eight portfolio loans ranging between $4,000,000 and $8,000,000, each secured by a portfolio of retail pharmacy chain stores across the United States.
  • Represented an institutional lender in the origination of a $24,000,000 portfolio loan secured by a hotel in California.
  • Represented regional bank in the origination of three, $10,000,000 revolving line of credit loans to residential mortgage companies.

  • Represented an elder healthcare company in the disposition of skilled nursing facilities throughout the United States.
  • Represented a real estate investment company in the purchasing and financing of a mixed-use, retail and multifamily building in Northern West Virginia.
