Audrey J. GrossmanAudrey J. Grossman concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, fiduciary litigation and probate.

She forms a strong bond with her clients, who find her relatable, empathetic, and thorough in ensuring the end result is right for them.

Ms. Grossman’s experience includes estate and trust administration and litigation; preparation of simple and complex revocable and irrevocable trusts, including special needs trusts, dynasty trusts and Asset Protection Trusts; wills, powers of attorney and other planning documents; business succession planning, special needs and long term care planning; Halachic Wills; contested and uncontested probate matters and fiduciary litigation; conservatorships; and planning for young families. She is also experienced in business entity formation.

Ms. Grossman previously served as in-house counsel for a major motion picture studio, practiced complex entertainment litigation, and served as Senior Counsel for a publicly traded corporation. A graduate of Harvard Law School, she clerked for Chief Judge Sarah Evans Barker, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

Representative Clients and Matters

Represents families with planning for estates subject to Federal Estate Tax

Prepares multi-generational trust plans for clients, their children, grand-children and future generations.

Prepares and implements asset protection trusts for clients and their families.

Prepares wills, trust, durable powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, living wills and advance care plans for clients with basic needs and those with complicated family situations.

Represents probate estates, both taxable and non-taxable, from start to finish.

Counsels Trustees on Trust Administration and related litigation.

Represents clients in litigation to end elder financial abuse.

Obtained emergency temporary conservatorship for client hospitalized with catatonic depression, enabling her daughter to authorize urgently needed medical care.

Obtained reversal of long-term care insurance company’s denial of benefits to elderly client for in-home care services.

Established Special Needs Trust for Disabled Adult Son, and Miller Trust for Mother, allowing both Mother and Son to qualify for needed long-term care benefits.

Successfully petitioned probate court for amendments to irrevocable trust to allow elderly disabled client to remain in home
